Steve Dietz  set a new course record from the blue tees on Sunday, April 27, 2008.  Just a week after the Spring aeration of the greens, Steve experienced no problems at all in rolling in 6 birdies and an eagle to shoot a 64 and lower the course record by a shot.  Steve said, "It is the first time I have ever had a bogey free round here."

Steve, a retired professional baseball player, is known for hitting the ball a long way.  He eagled the seventh hole after birdies on five and six.  Taking his 32 from the front side he birdied ten, twelve, thirteen and eighteen to finish off his great round.  No stranger to good scores, Steve won the club championship here at Juniper in 2005, our first year at the new course.  Congratulations to Steve!
